Sever-Metropol

«Sever-Metropol» is a confectionery with a history that began back in 1903 at 44 Nevsky Prospekt. Even then, the bakery-confectionery was listed in the "Ves Peterburg" yearbook, and queues for fresh pastries stretched along the whole avenue. The production survived two world wars and a revolution, but kept the recipes and traditions that several generations of St. Petersburg residents still remember today. Here they make the classics of Soviet confectionery: "Kartoshka" and "Leningradskoye" pastries, "Ptichye Moloko" and "Teatralny" cakes, "Bouchée" buns, and almond cookies. The recipes haven't changed for decades, and only natural ingredients are used — fresh chocolate, butter, natural cream. Boiled condensed milk for the desserts is ordered from Mordovia, and the products undergo strict quality control at every stage of production.
