Review Publication Guidelines
Reviews on Allcafe reflect real guest experiences. To keep ratings honest, every review goes through moderation based on these guidelines. By posting a review, you confirm it's genuine and that you agree to these rules.
What we publish
You've actually been to the place and share your own impressions: food, service, atmosphere, prices. Specific details (what you ordered, when you visited) make a review more credible.
Negative reviews are published on equal footing with positive ones, as long as they're constructive and free of insults. Any venue can post an official reply to a review.
What we don't publish
Reviews written for compensation, or by staff about their own venue or competitors. If discovered, we remove already published reviews and lower the account's trust score.
Profanity, threats, insults directed at guests or staff, and any form of discrimination. Critique the food and service — not people.
Descriptions of events that never happened, hearsay reviews, or reviews about the wrong venue. A moderator may ask for clarification.
Promo codes, links to other sites, mentions of competitors for promotional purposes, or contact details.
How moderation works
Every review is checked by a moderator — usually within 1–2 business days. Reviews that break the rules aren't published; in unclear cases, we may ask for more details about the visit.
Review scores feed into a venue's rating through a single algorithm — a ranking can't be bought or boosted.
