Saro

«Saro» on Admiral Lazarev Embankment is a European and modern-cuisine restaurant opened by a team of three: chef Maria Dementieva, sommelier Andrey Ermishkin, and manager Nazar Kolomiets. The three met while working at Ezo izakaya, Atele Tapas & Bar, and Jérôme, and later decided to start their own project — without hiring a design studio, doing everything themselves. The interior is built on elegant minimalism: wood panels with a graceful curve, 60s-style furniture and decor from the Correct Form gallery, and a Murano glass chandelier as the main accent of the room. Dishes are served on porcelain by the Italian brand Richard Ginori. The menu includes mussel toast with anchovy sauce, fried polenta with Uzbek tomatoes and aioli, and saffron risotto with foie gras. For dessert, they make halva panna cotta with olive oil from Abruzzo. The average check is 3,000–6,000 ₽, and the easiest way to get there is from Chkalovskaya metro station.
