Jungle

«Jungle» on the Griboyedov Canal embankment hides from the bustle in a quiet courtyard, right next door to the Wynwood hotel. The pan-Asian café was opened by the team behind the Gastroli and «Kompaniya» restaurants, and the average check here ranges from 1,000 to 3,000 rubles. It's easy to get to — the Nevsky Prospekt and Gostiny Dvor metro stations are nearby. The main feature of the place is the interior by DA Architects. In the well courtyard there's a real greenhouse with monsteras and yuccas, a glass roof and lanterns, and inside there are two dining rooms. In summer, guests have access to the roof of the neighboring hotel, with a terrace and a separate menu of rolls and poke. In the morning, «Jungle» serves rice porridge with orange, oatmeal with raisins in coconut milk, syrniki, croissants and pancakes with eggs. Breakfast, with fresh juice and an omelet with oyster mushrooms, is served from 8:00 to 12:00 on weekdays and until 14:00 on weekends. The main menu includes poke, bibimbap, gyoza, dim sum and tempura shrimp.
