Rico

«Rico» is a gastronomic salon by chef Arusi Gukasyan, known for her projects «Shchisliva» and «Teplitsa», located in Ruzheiny Lane in Moscow. The cuisine here is European and Mediterranean, with an average check of 2,350 rubles. The space at «Rico» feels more like an apartment than a classic restaurant. Instead of a bar counter, there's a piano; the sofas are scattered with mismatched cushions, the walls hung with paintings, and vases filled with fresh flowers. There are few tables, which gives the place an intimate feel. There's no menu in the usual sense: guests choose seafood, fish, and meat straight from the display case, and the chefs cook them in full view of diners. Appetizers are kept in a transparent fridge, so they too can be inspected before ordering. No alcohol is served, but guests are welcome to bring their own drinks. In the evenings, there's live music in the dining room.
