Myaso Myaso

«Myaso Myaso» is a restaurant on Varvarka Street, a few steps from Zaryadye Park. The cuisine is European and Russian, and the menu is built around the idea of a journey across Russia: dishes are paired with monuments and landmarks from Kaliningrad to Sakhalin. Every salad, appetizer, and dessert costs 600 rubles, and every hot dish costs 800 rubles, regardless of what it contains or how complicated it is to prepare. The menu combines classics with trendier items. Among the familiar: Pozharsky cutlets, quail braised with lingonberries and mushrooms, a casserole of braised beef with onion and bulgur, and a large mimosa salad with salmon. Among the more current: tuna poke with avocado, edamame, and chuka salad, langoustine sashimi in ponzu sauce, grilled Argentine shrimp with garlic and herbs, and Thai chicken fillet curry. The burrata with baked tomatoes deserves special mention: the tomatoes are cooked at a low temperature for 20 hours so their flavor becomes as concentrated as possible. Guests can also try barbecue pork ribs, beef lyulya-kebab, tuna steak, whole chicken roasted in the oven under a sour cream and garlic sauce, the signature grand beefsteak, and carbonara pasta.
