Bunker-42 na Taganke

«Bunker-42 na Taganke» is located somewhere no other Moscow restaurant is — 65 meters underground, in an actual secret Soviet-era bunker. You can descend into it near Taganskaya and Marksistskaya metro stations, at 5th Kotelnichesky Lane, 11. The unique interior of the former military facility creates a completely distinct atmosphere, unlike any other venue in the city. The menu features Russian and Soviet dishes, the kind familiar from the days when the country's political elite sat at this very table. The average check runs from 1,000 to 3,000 rubles. In the evenings the restaurant hosts live vocal performances — the concert program is led by different performers, for example, Anetta Ulyanova performs during daytime hours, while Evgeny Gergert takes the stage closer to evening. The restaurant has several halls of different scale and purpose. The main Red Hall suits everyday visits, while for large celebrations there is the two-story "Rodina" hall with its own staircase. There is also the General's Hall, the White Hall, the "Dialogue" hall, and even a separate Children's Hall for family celebrations. This variety of spaces makes «Bunker-42» a suitable venue for a business meeting, a children's birthday party, or an anniversary alike.
