Aivani

«Aivani» is a Georgian restaurant on the second floor of Usachevsky Market in Moscow, at 26 Usacheva Street. The cuisine is built on Caucasian and Georgian traditions with signature accents: shashlik, wine and dishes of Georgian gastronomy sit alongside contemporary presentation here. Behind the project is Liliya Medzmariashvili — brand chef and owner of the restaurants «Sakhli», «Tenili» and «Darbazi». At «Aivani» she develops the Georgian theme in a new format, placed right above the market's trading rows. The name itself translates from Georgian as «balcony», and this idea of open space forms the basis of the interior. Being located on the second floor of the market allows the restaurant to maintain a visual connection with the overall space of the trading rows, while the balcony concept sets the direction for the hall's design. The venue's format combines proximity to the market environment with full-fledged restaurant cuisine — from shashlik to signature dishes with Georgian roots, complemented by a wine list.
