Spyashchaya Sobaka

«Spyashchaya Sobaka» is a beer bar in the Chekist Town complex at Pervomayskaya, 40, near the Dinamo and Ploshchad 1905 Goda metro stations. The place was opened by Denis Tarasov, a well-known Yekaterinburg photographer and co-founder of the Mart photography center. You can also arrange a tour of the basements of this legendary constructivist complex here — the history of the place matters just as much as what's poured into the glasses. The bar's interior follows the minimalist spirit of Russian avant-garde — no unnecessary decoration, just the essentials. Six kinds of beer are on tap, plus around fifty more bottled varieties in the fridges, mostly from Russian producers.
