Mayak

«Mayak» is located at 1A Naberezhnaya 62-y Armii, in the very center of Volgograd, on the high bank of the Volga. The building is a cultural heritage site; it took on its current appearance in the mid-1950s after reconstruction based on a design by architect Levitan. This stone mansion in the neoclassical style remains a notable landmark on the city map to this day. The restaurant has long been a venue for weddings, corporate events, and family celebrations. It has a banquet hall seating 85 people, a separate VIP room, and a summer terrace with a view of the river and the city. The terrace is the main reason to visit «Mayak» during the warm season, even without an occasion for a banquet. The menu features European cuisine with an emphasis on Mediterranean dishes: salmon carpaccio, parmigiana fillet, beef tenderloin tagliata, and seafood bouillabaisse. Alongside these are pasta dishes and classic Russian fare. The average check at «Mayak» runs from 1,000 to 3,000 rubles.
