Vechnyy zov

«Vechnyy zov» at 47 Sovetskaya Street is a tavern with Siberian character right in the heart of Tomsk. The building has preserved its old-fashioned interior, and in the evenings there's live music — Viktor Korolyov's violin and the band «Anima» set an intimate mood for dinner or lunch. The kitchen is built on Russian and Siberian traditions, and dishes are cooked to order — served right after preparation, with no long wait on a shelf. The menu includes bear meat cutlets with lingonberries, Siberian pelmeni and pancakes — the very dishes that Vladimir Putin and Angela Merkel tasted during their 2006 visit to Tomsk. Besides that, there are salads, appetizers, soups, main courses, homemade baked goods, porridges and desserts. The average check is about 1,350 rubles. The tavern is open from noon to midnight, orders are taken until 10 p.m., and there's delivery around the city from noon until the end of the day. The restaurant works both for a regular visit and for a festive table — for example, the New Year's menu is planned here in advance.
