«Skandinavia Wine Bar & Grill» operates on the grounds of the «Skandinaviya» Country Club and Spa in Sestroretsk, just a few meters from the Gulf of Finland. The complex was built in the early twentieth century and retains the atmosphere of pre-revolutionary Russia, the very one described by Tolstoy and Chekhov. It was here that the wealthiest people of the Russian Empire came to relax, leaving the noisy capital behind. The restaurant serves European cuisine and is surrounded by the historic interiors of the country club, which today unites three buildings: Dacha Shelepina and Dacha Likhacheva, both 5-star, and the club's main building, rated 3 stars. Guests of the club stay in the spacious suites of Dacha Shelepina, in apartments with a kitchen-dining area at Dacha Likhacheva, or in cottages a seven-minute walk from the club.
