About

NAMA

«NAMA» on Kovensky Lane is an Asian project bearing the mark of Glen Ballis, known for «Lucky Izakaya Bar», «Avocado Queen», «Medusa», «Eva» and «Loro». In St. Petersburg he works in partnership with Arkady Novikov and Anton Pinsky, and the spirit of the menu echoes Moscow's «Medusa». The place values clean flavors, quality ingredients and understated presentation without unnecessary flourishes. The menu includes sushi, sashimi and hand rolls with salmon, bluefin tuna, eel, scallop and ebi shrimp. The bowls come together in different ways: with grilled salmon, omelet and rice, or with green salad, vegetables and chuka. Teppanyaki dishes hold a special place — skewered scallop kushiyaki with daikon and carrot purée, broccoli with Japanese curry and wasabi yogurt. There's also a full section of noodles and rice. Average check is from 1,000 to 3,000 rubles. You can get to the restaurant from Chernyshevskaya, Ploshchad Vosstaniya or Mayakovskaya metro stations.
