Mer Kaffe

«Mer Kaffe» is located at Andreevsky Market, 18 Bolshoy Prospekt on Vasilyevsky Island — near the Vasileostrovskaya, Gorny Institut, and Sportivnaya metro stations. It's a joint project by Nikolay Gotko and Nikolay Yalansky, already familiar to St. Petersburg residents through the Bolshe Coffee Roasters coffee shops, the Prosto Vino wine bar, and other venues of the "Bolshe Coffee" group. The name translates from Norwegian as "more coffee" — which fully reflects what the place is about. The venue's format is a diptych: a coffee shop sits alongside a wine bar, with the wine list curated by sommelier Anatoly Zhdanov. Quality coffee is paired with affordable prices, and the drinks are accompanied by a substantial European menu — from grilled cheese toasts to salad bowls. A particular point of pride for the place is its summer terrace, set up right in the enfilade of the market space.
