Mariniere by maison de Zhirobas

«Mariniere by maison de Zhirobas» opened on Gagarinskaya Street as a continuation of the café «Zhirobas», which used to operate on Rubinstein Street. The old name hasn't gone anywhere — it stayed in the city's memory and now lives on in a new format. The restaurant chose the style of a European brasserie and put the focus on seafood cuisine. The stars of the menu are Black Sea oysters and mussels. The mussels are cooked in traditional pots, and there are more than a dozen ways to serve them: everyone can find their favorite sauce or combination. Alongside the seafood, the menu holds on to solid French classics — rillettes, onion soup, fish and chips, choucroute with smoked meats. The kitchen combines French and European traditions, rounding them out with a raw menu. The restaurant is located in the very center of St. Petersburg, within walking distance of the «Chernyshevskaya», «Nevsky Prospekt» and «Gostiny Dvor» metro stations.
