Made in China

«Made in China» is an Asian cuisine restaurant on Bolshaya Morskaya Street, 35, near Admiralteyskaya metro station. It's a project from the creators of Wong Kar Wine and Bekitzer, working in the New Wave Chinese Cuisine format — Chinese gastronomy is presented here through the lens of the modern West and neighboring Asian regions. The menu features sharing-style appetizers: black tuna tataki, crispy avocado, and Sichuan-style beef tartare. Among the hot dishes, worth trying are crispy duck with flatbreads and vegetables, sweet-and-sour pineapple chicken, and filet mignon with eryngii mushrooms in truffle sauce. The bar occupies a special place in the restaurant. The cocktail menu is built around images of China — from Silk Road tea houses to the neon bars of Hong Kong — with the concept answering the question of what classic cocktails would look like if they had been invented in the Middle Kingdom. The wine list was put together by sommelier and restaurant co-owner Anna Dolgushina, who added organic and biodynamic wines alongside the usual Rieslings and Pinot Noirs. The average check at the restaurant is 1,800 ₽. The venue is open Sunday through Thursday from 12:00 to 23:00, and Friday and Saturday until 01:00.
