«Mad» on Bankovsky Lane builds its menu around open fire and Asian cuisine reimagined through Eastern traditions. The grill is the heart of the place — it sets the tone for everything, from vibrant appetizers to a premium raw bar. Granite, wood, and cylindrical tile shape a space where the kitchen is open to guests and the cooking process becomes part of the presentation. The restaurant's signature dish is Peking duck, whose preparation stretches over five days. They use farm duck aged 45–55 days: three days in a maturation chamber, then marinating with vegetables, spices, and fermented products, after which the bird is roasted. It's served in the classic way — with thin yeast-free pancakes, hoisin sauce, and fresh vegetables. The dining room seats 54 around the kitchen and bar, with another 18 seats right by the open kitchen, where you can watch the chefs at work up close. Peking duck delivery and gift certificates are available, and guests in the Petrogradsky district can order the restaurant's own delivery service.
