JFC Jazz Club

«JFC Jazz Club» on Shpalernaya Street is a place where live music plays every evening, with no days off. Jazz ensembles, blues bands, voice-and-double-bass duets, trios, and quartets perform here — the lineup changes daily and spans a wide range of styles, from traditional swing and Dixieland to modern jazz-rock and Piazzolla's Argentine tango. The club's stage hosts St. Petersburg musicians — Vladimir Volkov, Andrei Kondakov, Evgeny Lamba, the Chizhik-jazz-quartet group — as well as guests from the Netherlands, Israel, Brazil, Argentina, and the USA. Jam sessions are held regularly, where any performer is welcome to join the musicians. The club serves European cuisine — you can have dinner to the live sound of a double bass or saxophone.
