Forest Hill

«Forest Hill» is a Scandinavian restaurant right at the entrance to the «Okhta-park» resort in the village of Mistolovo. It was opened by the «Chekhov» group, which had already launched Après Ski nearby. The focus here is on local produce and forest ingredients, and nature is treated with care and respect — something felt in everything from the plating to the place's overall philosophy. The interior was created by the architectural studio Da Bureau, the team behind Birch and Cococo Bistro. The space is designed in an eco style with clear Scandinavian touches: plenty of natural wood, a calm, nature-inspired palette, and floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows overlooking the forest. Bioethanol fireplaces keep guests warm, and two terraces offer a place to relax outdoors — one of them tucked away on the side facing away from the road, staying almost unnoticed by chance visitors. Inside, there's a farm shop where you can buy produce and delicacies from local farms. The menu features a genuine gastronomic experiment: edible moss, soaked for several hours and served with sweet, spicy, or salty components. As for meat and fish, the kitchen prepares whitefish sugudai in olive oil, cod glazed in kvass, stroganina made from northern fish, and venison tenderloin. Worth noting separately is the "northerner's breakfast" — a plate with Danish bread, three kinds of butter, homemade cheese, fish, cured meat, and a whole collection of mosses. The average check at the restaurant is 3,000–6,000 rubles.
