Espresso Bike

«Espresso Bike» occupies a basement floor with red-brick vaults on Kazanskaya Street, just steps from Nevsky Prospect and Gostiny Dvor. The place opened in 2014 as one of the city's first new-generation coffee shops, and in 2016, after renovation, it expanded its space. Coffee is the main focus here. Only specialty-grade beans are used, with the Krasnodar-based team Sweet Beans as the main roaster. A chalkboard displays the available varieties for different brewing methods each day, and the baristas explain the nuances of taste and preparation methods to guests in detail. A particular point of pride here is the house espresso blend, made from equal parts washed and natural-processed Ethiopian beans. It's what regular guests come here for. Besides coffee to enjoy on-site, «Espresso Bike» produces its own bottled cold brew and cascara tea. The average check at the place ranges from 1,000 to 3,000 rubles, and European cuisine complements the coffee program.
