Edelveys

«Edelveys» is a café-bar on Bolshoy Smolensky Prospekt in the Nevsky District, near Elizarovskaya metro station. The menu combines European and Caucasian traditions: they grill lamb, pork, and chicken shashlik, lyulya-kebab, and trout, and serve sadj with a choice of meat. Cold appetizers include a meat and cheese platter, a vegetable platter, herring Russian-style, a fish platter, eggplant rolls, and marinated mushrooms. Among the salads, worth trying are "Chicken Paradise," a meat salad, "Mimosa," "Stolichny," and the signature "Edelweiss" salad. Side dishes include French fries or Idaho-style potatoes, and shashlik comes with lavash and sauce. The café is open from noon until the last guest leaves, with two dining areas — a large hall and a smaller one with a bar. It can host banquets for up to 50 guests, and there are set menus at 1200 and 1500 rubles per person, including appetizers, salads, a hot dish, and a fruit platter for dessert. On weekdays there's a business lunch, and lunches and shashlik are available for delivery. The venue shows sports broadcasts on TV, smoking is allowed, and hookah is available.
