«Dolphinwolf» on Borovaya Street, 21, is a craft beer bar from the Ural brewery Ostrovica, grown out of its experimental side project. The focus here is on mutant beer — unusual styles like pistachio ice-cream pale ale or an imperial pastry saison with orange-rosemary marmalade. New releases of this kind debut here first, and the full tap list is displayed on a lightbox above the bar, featuring not only Ostrovica's beer but also offerings from partner breweries — Big Village, On the Bones, Stamm, Zagovor, and Saldens. The beer is paired with snacks to match the concept: various kinds of mac and cheese and chicken lollipops. The bar operates near Ligovsky Prospekt and Obvodny Kanal metro stations, and its kitchen serves mixed cuisine with an emphasis on snacks. The bar's interior was designed by Pavel Platonov — smooth yellow surfaces, a pink beach umbrella, and a DJ booth shaped like a piece of chewing gum create an eccentric setting. The bar plays an up-to-date music program, and the whole atmosphere is built around the idea of unconventional craft beer served with equally unconventional snacks.
