About

Bao Box

«Bao Box» is an Asian café on Yakhtennaya Street, 24k2, in Saint Petersburg. The venue is part of a chain, and behind the project is the team that created the restaurants Gills, Sixty Four and Hype. The kitchen is headed by Rail Sitdikov, chef of Gills. The menu features straightforward Asian classics without unnecessary experiments. Here they make noodles, donburi and sushirrito, cook fragrant ramen and spicy tom yum, and serve gyoza. Bao buns hold a special place on the menu — they are baked right at the café, and it is they that gave the venue its name. The kitchen combines Chinese and Japanese motifs, so the menu makes room for both familiar sushirrito rolls and rich ramen, as well as Thai tom yum. The café format is well suited for a quick and tasty lunch or dinner without a long wait — the Asian food here is prepared according to classic recipes familiar to many from other projects by the same team. «Bao Box» on Yakhtennaya is a good fit for those who want to try different directions of Asian cuisine in one place — from China to Japan and Thailand.
