Balabanov Bistro

«Balabanov Bistro» is located on Kolokolnaya Street, near Vladimirskaya and Dostoevskaya metro stations. The place combines signature and Jewish cuisine, with an average check of 1,500–2,000 rubles. The project came about thanks to Grigory and Anna Selyanov, a couple who worked on the documentary film «Brat navsegda» ("Brother Forever"). It was their long, close friendship with the Balabanov family that formed the basis of the bistro's concept. The idea to open it took shape one evening when Nadezhda, the director's wife, shared the idea of creating a place where the food and atmosphere would recall their shared gatherings and conversations. The bistro's menu brings together two directions: dishes of Jewish cuisine and signature dishes developed by the restaurant's team. Guests can also order cocktails that complement the food menu.
