«2Taco&Co» is a Mexican café-bar on Zhukovskogo Street, near the "Ploshchad Vosstaniya" and "Mayakovskaya" metro stations. The interior was designed by architects from Rhizome Group, drawing on the geography of the cuisine and the owners' love of surfing: bright colors, ethnic patterns given an unusual twist, cacti in tin cans, and a sofa shaped like a wave. The name references brand chef Juan Ramirez's own café in Mexico, where only two kinds of tacos are made. The menu at the Petersburg establishment is much wider. Here they serve fajitas and quesadillas with Adyghe cheese, molotes pastries, caldo de res soup with beef and vegetables, chili rellenos — Romano peppers stuffed with smoked cheese, and corn pie with banana ice cream. Guacamole comes in three varieties: classic, pear, and mango. The tacos here experiment with fillings. The fish version, besides iceberg lettuce, pico de gallo, and avocado, may include halibut, smoked red fish, or mackerel. The vegetarian taco uses zucchini with mushrooms, bell pepper, or battered eggplant. The level of spiciness can be discussed with the waiter in advance. The average check here is up to 1,000 rubles.
