Shakhmatnyy dvorets

«Shakhmatnyy dvorets» is located in Saratov at 2 Sobornaya Square. The building opened its doors in August 2017 and immediately established itself as a venue of international scale — major events and tournaments are held here. The halls are decorated in a postmodern style, with the interior and exterior combining minimalism with elements of hi-tech and neoclassicism. The complex covers several thousand square meters and includes its own park area with parking zones. Nearby is a hotel with banquet halls belonging to the «Zhemchuzhina» restaurant club, where celebrations and events are held both indoors and outdoors. The infrastructure allows for accommodating guests, feeding them, and organizing round tables, meetings, and conferences. A chess academy operates on the premises of «Shakhmatnyy dvorets»: classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:00 PM (theory), and on Sundays from 10:00 to 11:30 AM — a game or tournament day. Groups have up to 10 people, and there are no age restrictions for students.
