Po shchuchemu veleniyu

The «Po shchuchemu veleniyu» café-tavern has been operating in Saratov at 45 Sovetskaya Street since November 12, 2001. The interior is designed in the style of a traditional Russian izba: a stove and a cart stand in the center of the hall, and the space is decorated with antique household items. The tavern's cuisine is based on traditional Russian recipes. Guests are offered pancakes with meat and mushrooms, pike cutlets, beef pâté, and borscht with garlic and salo, while stuffed pike is prepared for special occasions. A business lunch is available from 12:00 to 15:00: salad with soup costs 430 rubles, salad with a hot dish costs 470 rubles, soup with a hot dish costs 500 rubles, and a full meal costs 540 rubles. The tavern accepts orders for banquets and weddings: for orders starting from 2,800 rubles per person, guests are allowed to bring their own alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. A 10% discount is offered for birthdays, but it does not apply to banquet orders. The average check at the establishment is 1,000–3,000 rubles, and the tavern is open daily from 11:00 to 23:00.
