Schneider

«Schneider» is a beer restaurant on the embankment, whose full name refers to the Bavarian brand Schneider Weisse. Restaurateur Vadim Kalinich negotiated with the Munich brewery for a long time, and in the end the brand agreed to open its first stand-alone restaurant outside Germany right here, in Rostov-on-Don. The cuisine at the establishment is properly masculine: sausages, pork knuckles, ribs, stewed cabbage and crispy-skinned pork — everything that goes well with Bavarian beer. A special point of pride on the menu is Don cuisine, which you don't often encounter on the right bank. The restaurant occupies two floors with several dining rooms, and on the roof there is an open terrace with a view of the embankment. The format of the place suits both a hearty lunch with friends and an evening with a mug of beer and classic snacks. At 27 Beregovaya Street, «Schneider» combines German beer traditions with local flavor — a rare combination for this part of the city.
