La trenta

«La trenta» is a small trattoria in the center of Novosibirsk, near Ploshchad Lenina metro station, at 9 Lenina Street. The entrance is from Uritskogo Street. The dishes here are made using recipes brought directly from Italy — from Rome, Naples and Florence — combined with recognizable Italian-Russian dishes. The pizza is baked on thin dough with prosciutto, gorgonzola, stracciatella and quality olive oil. Fresh pasta, ravioli and some of the cheeses are made by hand in the kitchen. The menu includes pappardelle with beef and wild mushrooms in a creamy tomato sauce, duck breast with lingonberry sauce and orange fillet, as well as pasta with slow-cooked duck made according to an old Tuscan recipe. The wine list is small but thoughtfully put together: homemade Italian wine is served by the carafe and by the glass, and wines from the Piedmont winery Tenuta Foresta are brought to Novosibirsk exclusively for this place. A summer terrace opens in the warm season. The average check is 1000 to 3000 rubles, the restaurant is open from 12:00 to 23:00, and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
