«Samurai» on Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street, 59/2 is part of a Nizhny Novgorod café chain whose history began in 2010 with roll delivery. It started as a small project with a team of five, and today «Samurai» is a chain of 12 cafés across different districts of Nizhny Novgorod with a staff of 600. The menu combines European and Japanese cuisine: in 2016, European dishes were added alongside sushi and rolls, and since 2020 the same range has also been available for delivery. The café's menu includes more than 150 items. To prepare rolls and other fish dishes, «Samurai» uses its own factory-kitchen, which processes about 72 tons of salmon annually. The chain receives more than 400,000 delivery orders a year and covers the entire city, including outlying districts. The café on Bolshaya Pokrovskaya is suitable for business lunches, dinners, family get-togethers and celebrations — people come here and order delivery for various occasions. Table reservations are temporarily unavailable at this establishment, but a walk-in queue is in place.
