Khmel

«Khmel» at 18b Minina Street is a beer bar with an open kitchen and seven-meter-high ceilings. Inside are long wooden benches and equally long rows of bottles on the shelves. Behind the bar are twenty taps pouring more than 250 craft beers: the strong Belgian ale Kwak, black British stout, and brews from Germany, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Denmark, and Russia. The kitchen serves American food with original touches. The menu includes burgers — one with a beef patty, cherry confiture, and bacon, another with lingonberry sauce and pickles. There are also Chinese-style pork ribs with peanuts, beef tacos, pork quesadillas, and khachapuri. During the day, business lunches are available with soups, salads, and a main course. The average check at the bar runs from 1,000 to 3,000 rubles. On days with football matches and major sporting events, broadcasts are shown on screens. The venue is easy to reach from Gorkovskaya metro station.
