Bar&Joy

«Bar&Joy» at Belinskogo Street, 15 in Nizhny Novgorod is a place where cocktails are made like a real show. The bartenders create over thirty signature twists with unusual presentation: a glass topped with a cloud of cotton candy, or low-temperature smoke rising from a flask as the drink is mixed. Each cocktail is built on unconventional ingredients and becomes its own art object. The wine list was put together by sommelier Kirill Sulima, who grouped the selections by organoleptic properties — from light and fresh to full-bodied and dense. The list is complemented by aged whiskies, quality cognacs, and ports. A food menu accompanies the drinks: rolls, tartares, ceviche, pâtés, salads, and light desserts. On weekend evenings, DJs play at the bar, and hookahs are available to guests. At present, «Bar&Joy» operates by advance reservation only, for private events.
