Usadba Muravyovykh-Apostolov

The «Usadba Muravyovykh-Apostolov» is located in Moscow at 23/9 Staraya Basmannaya Street, building 1. This is the main house of an old estate, built in the Moscow Classicism style of the early 19th century. The building has miraculously survived for two centuries, escaping fires and urban redevelopment, and remains an ornament of old Moscow. From 2000 to 2013, the house underwent careful restoration, after which it reopened to the city. The Muravyov-Apostol family belonged to Russia's artistic and intellectual elite in the first half of the 19th century, and literature, painting, and music were valued here. Today the estate continues these traditions: in May 2013, a museum opened here, and the house grounds host exhibitions, guided tours, and cultural events. At the estate, visitors can view the permanent exhibition and learn about the history of the house and its founder. The estate's space includes the main and basement floors, which are used for hosting events, wedding registrations, and filming.
