«The 312» is a Chicago-style gastropub at 21 Sushchevskaya Street, near Novoslobodskaya and Mendeleevskaya metro stations. During the day, it's a quiet spot for lunch, but in the evening the room shifts gears to king-size cocktails and live jazz — an acoustic set one night, a Chicago-blues-style vocal evening the next. The spacious dining room and terrace work equally well for solo guests and large groups. The flagship dish is deep-dish pizza: thin crust with high edges, tomato sauce, melted mozzarella, chicken, mushrooms, and sweet mustard. It's often paired with a Chicago-style hot dog on a poppy-seed bun, topped with a beef sausage, chili con carne, pepperoncini, cheddar, BBQ sauce, and fried onions.
