Rishon

«Rishon» operates right inside the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center at 11 Obraztsova Street, building 1a, near Maryina Roshcha metro station. The name translates from Hebrew as "first" — and that's no coincidence. The café follows the strictest level of kashrut and was one of the first places in Moscow to combine the rigorous rules of Jewish cuisine with a format open to any visitor. The interior design was done by the Sundukov sisters' studio. The space turned out cohesive and well thought out — fitting for the concept of a place where the food and the atmosphere follow a single idea. The average check at «Rishon» is 1,000–3,000 rubles. It's a good fit for anyone who wants to experience traditional Jewish cuisine, prepared in full accordance with the laws of kashrut, while also visiting one of Moscow's major museum complexes.
