Rikhter

«Richter» occupies the ground floor of a hotel in a restored 1874 mansion on Pyatnitskaya Street. The building once belonged to Fyodor Richter, the founder of Russian architectural restoration, and today it brings different eras together: historic stucco moldings and parquet floors sit alongside contemporary art, the Szena gallery, and the Lebigmag magazine room. The restaurant serves European cuisine, with an average check of 3,000 to 6,000 rubles. It's easy to reach from Novokuznetskaya or Tretyakovskaya metro stations. The restaurant's cuisine is built on an associative approach: the chefs reinterpret traditional dishes drawing on images of the forest, the sea, berry fields, and travel, taking inspiration from farms. The wine list is put together jointly with Diletant Wine — it includes many rare bottles and stories tied to specific wines. For 8 years now, «Richter» has hosted concerts, lectures, exhibitions, and film screenings — its cultural program is built on live dialogue and attention to the community. Since 2020, the hotel has run the Richter Workshops — creative residencies for artists, writers, musicians, and creative entrepreneurs. The building also has a garden with an urban vegetable plot and a summer cinema.
