Hamster

«Hamster» is a European and Pan-Asian restaurant near Minskaya metro station, in one of Moscow's attractive residential complexes. The name is no accident: a hamster is always chewing, and guests of the restaurant are just as eager to come back for the dishes they've grown to love. The bright dining room with panoramic windows looks out onto a quiet courtyard, creating a sense of a country retreat right in the city. The menu includes teriyaki salmon with beetroot hummus, prosciutto crudo with stracciatella and arugula, beef tartare with parmesan mousse, baked eggplant with miso and cheese, fritto misto with mango aioli, and tuna ceviche with Uzbek tomatoes. The team regularly updates the menu while keeping to its main principle — cooking dishes that are simple and familiar to everyone, made from quality ingredients. The average check is 3,000–6,000 rubles. The restaurant handles banquet organization: birthdays, intimate weddings, anniversaries, and business meetings. Guests choose the format of the celebration themselves — a lively party with champagne and oysters, or a quiet dinner in a small circle. The team is led by a mother and daughter, Elvira and Daria Mandrovsky. Elvira has worked in the restaurant industry for 30 years and has created projects such as Erwin, «Aragvi», «El Gauchito», Simple Pleasure, «Marusya», «Schechtel», «Revolution», and Double Dutch.
