Dolmaster

«Dolmaster» at Danilovsky Market was opened by Lilit Harutyunyan, a chef with experience working dinners at Stay Hungry, as a guest chef at the Good Enough coffee shop on Bolshaya Dmitrovka and at the restaurant Moments, and as a pastry chef at the «Baton» bakery. She has a personal connection to this market: she grew up in the building across from it and came here with her mother as a child to buy groceries, and some of the vendors still remember her family. At «Dolmaster», Lilit cooks together with her aunts Roza and Alina. The main dish, as the name suggests, is dolma. The classic version is served with lamb in grape leaves, lavash, and a sauce of matsoni, cilantro, and garlic — an S portion costs 200 rubles. There's also a Greek version with rice, walnuts, and mint, also wrapped in grape leaves, but with avgolemono lemon sauce — an M portion for 300 rubles. The menu also includes a soup with mountain sorrel for 170 rubles, khashlama for 300 rubles, ishli kyufta for 150 rubles, and gapama — a sweet pilaf with dried fruits and nuts baked in a pumpkin — for 250 rubles. As a starter, you can order a bean salad with cilantro and homemade mayonnaise for 150 rubles. The café is located at 74 Mytnaya Street, near Tulskaya metro station.
