About

Dogs in the fog

«Dogs in the fog» is located on Petrovsky Boulevard, near the Tsvetnoy Bulvar and Trubnaya metro stations. It was opened by five friends with experience in the restaurant business: Oleg Tsoy, Mikhail Pugachev, Pavel Nitsa, Vitaly Kuchura, and Filipp Golubev. In 2020 they set out to create a small bar, but the project grew into something much bigger. They chose a semi-basement space in a late 19th-century building that once housed the legendary restaurant «Hermitage», run by Lucien Olivier. The renovation was led by architect Georgy Aigunyan. The historic metal arch and columns, layered with old paint, were left untouched, complemented by a modern amphitheater and custom-made furniture. The bar counter deserves special mention: its countertop is carved from quartzite and weighs 5 tons. The kitchen is run by chef Artem Chudnenko. The menu features American cuisine, burgers, and European dishes familiar to Muscovites but served with the chef's own signature touches. The food is complemented by a carefully curated cocktail list. The average check at the restaurant ranges from 1,000 to 3,000 rubles.
