Cheretto

«Cheretto» on Leningradsky Prospekt is part of a small chain of Italian cafés where dishes are made almost entirely without pre-made components, with preference given to fresh ingredients. The homemade pasta isn't rolled out in front of guests here, but in every other respect they try to shorten the path from prep to plate. At the same time, the menu doesn't try to impress with its size — it's simple but well thought out: the pasta list includes more than a dozen items, including less common types like paccheri and garganelli. The wine list is built around Italy, with only one Spanish Rioja breaking that logic. A separate section is devoted to wines from the Ceretto estate, one of Italy's oldest producers, after which the place is named. The average check at the café is around 1,500 rubles.
