Migusha

«Migusha» is a pastry shop at Surikova, 12, right in Krasnoyarsk's main restaurant district. The place grew out of a family hobby: the owner, Olga Yarunina, spent several years baking cakes to order before deciding to open a place of her own. The name is a warm, homely nickname for her mother. The dining room, with its large windows and Scandinavian interior, seats a couple dozen people, but many customers take their sweets to go. The display case holds the owner's own classic cakes, colorful macarons, and cupcakes. A slice of cake costs a few hundred rubles, and by evening the shelves are often empty.
