«PetroVVodkin» on Krasnaya Street, 82, was opened by designer Nikolai Petrov, who has done the interiors of many well-known venues in Krasnodar. This time he took on his own project, with the focus on drinks. The bar stocks almost thirty types of craft beer, including rare Scottish heather ales and Belgian raspberry krieks. Alongside these are 16 kinds of house-infused liqueurs made with sea buckthorn, saffron, lavender and other unexpected ingredients, as well as Kuban wines. The day at the venue starts with herbal blends bearing telling names like "Blood Cleansing" or "General Tonic." As for food, the menu offers house-made pickles, pike fish soup and homemade pâté. The cuisine is mixed European, and the average check is 1,500 rubles. The atmosphere is like a private club: many guests know the restaurateur personally. Nikolai Petrov is often on the second floor, ready for a game of chess or a chat about a book he's read.
