Hopkins Bar

«Hopkins Bar» sits right in the heart of Krasnodar's restaurant scene, in a courtyard at 67B Krasnaya Street. The whitewashed brick building signals its craft character right away. There are 13 taps here, and at least half of them pour genuine rarities: oyster stout, pineapple stout, quadrupel trappist ale, blackcurrant cider. The bottled beer display looks more like a collection of curiosities than an ordinary bar shelf. Food isn't the point here — the menu is deliberately modest. For a snack, they'll offer dried venison, nuts, and salted crackers. The bartenders don't mind if guests bring their own snacks — that's the norm here. There are only three tables inside, so most of the bar's life happens near the entrance.
