Port Bar

«Port Bar» is located on a quiet stretch of Shchapov Street, not far from the Medical University. It was opened by the owner of the Green Dog bar, and the name was inspired by the containers left over from a motorcycle garage complex that once occupied the site. The interior was designed by Pyotr Safiullin from the Yaratam studio: the restrained wall tones are offset by bright accents, both inside and on the terrace there are communal tables, plenty of potted plants, and some details nod to aviation — a subject the bar's owner has spent a good deal of his life devoted to. The kitchen is run by chef Stanislav Shtin, and the star of the menu is brisket — beef brisket smoked using a special technique. It appears in almost every dish: worth trying are the brisket salad, the borscht made with it, and the ramen with the same meat. The menu doesn't stand still, though — new items appear each season and stay in the kitchen only for a limited time. The wine list includes Spanish Tempranillo, Italian Primitivo, Médoc, and Valpolicella, while beer lovers can choose from Russian craft breweries — Jaws Brewery, AF Brewery, and Volkovskaya Brewery. The average check at the bar runs from 1,000 to 3,000 rubles.
