KultBar

«KultBar» occupies a courtyard in the restored Old Tatar Sloboda on Kayum Nasyri Street, in an 18th-century building next door to the «Genatsvale» and «Tatarskaya usadba» restaurants. The historic architecture shaped the layout: a hookah lounge greets guests at the entrance, with the bar counter — the heart of the place — set to its left. The bar menu is overseen by Vadim Borodinov's team, familiar to Kazan residents from Gonzo Bar and OmNomNom. Here they make classics — Negroni, Manhattan, Martinez, Mai Tai — along with numerous signature twists. The Gin Fizz is enhanced with violet and lavender essence, keeping its dryness and tartness while adding floral notes. The "Chabyor-Tiki" is built on vodka with orange liqueur, thyme, cinnamon, and honey. And the "Krestny Russky" combines ideas from the White Russian and the Godfather: vodka and amaretto are mixed with black pepper, cream, and turmeric, resulting in a rich flavor and a striking black color. There's no full kitchen at the bar, but there are appetizers and grilled dishes: bruschettas with Parma ham and Kamchatka crab, Dor Blue and Camembert cheeses, Italian cervelat sausage, tortillas, and sandwiches. The average check at «KultBar» is 1,000–3,000 ₽.
