Khan Bulak

«Khan Bulak» is located in Kazan at 53/2 Pravo-Bulachnaya Street, in a courtyard that had stood empty for several years. The restaurant opened on the site of the former «Shashlychnyy dvor» and kept its main specialty — meat grilled over an open mangal. Here they cook lamb, chicken, veal, bone-in pork loin, and salmon, and for those looking for something unusual, there's beef basturma, veal tongue, lamb tail fat, and blue shark steak. Azerbaijani cuisine is set apart in the menu as a separate section. To go with the shashlik, there's matsoni, dovga, a vegetable platter for a large group, or a chobani salad with cilantro, basil, and lemon juice for one. The other half of the menu is made up of Italian and Russian dishes: fettuccine with seafood, risotto with pear, arugula with grilled shrimp, "royal" Olivier salad, borscht, and julienne. The bar serves wine by the bottle and beer. The average check at the restaurant is 1,000 to 3,000 rubles. Bank cards are not accepted at «Khan Bulak», but you can pay through Sberbank Online. Parking is available for only three cars.
