«Russkiy khleb» on Kashtanovaya Alley in Kaliningrad is a bakery with its own production facility that has been operating since 1994. The company started out making bread and bakery products and was one of the first in the region to offer residents new kinds of bread: the hearth-baked wheat bread series "Krestyansky" and "Korolevsky," toasting breads, national bread varieties, and sprouted-grain bread. The bakery follows traditional live production and natural dough fermentation, using sourdough starters for its wheat breads. The range includes the "Sdobny" enriched loaf, the colorful "Ligo" bread, a wheat-rye bread with green apple and caraway, a sugar-free toasting bread with chia seeds, and a poppy seed crunch bread. There are also handmade pies, including "Vienna pies," and enriched pies with ten types of fillings. Among the ready-made dishes are hearty lunches, bowls, and sandwiches. At all bakeries in the chain, you can get a cottage cheese sochnik in a combo with coffee for 145 rubles, or a sandwich with coffee for 230 rubles. Every day the bakery produces more than 11,000 units of bread and over 44,000 buns, and its products are sold through 1,824 retail outlets across Kaliningrad and the region.
