Russkiy khleb

«Russkiy khleb» has been operating in Kaliningrad since 1994 — one of the first businesses in the region to start producing bread and baked goods in a new way. The bakery at 73-75 Frunze Street continues the tradition of genuine, unhurried production: the dough is made naturally, using sponge starters. This is where the city's hearth-baked wheat breads «Krestyanskiy» (Peasant) and «Korolevskiy» (Royal) first appeared, along with toast breads, national breads, and sprouted grain bread. The range includes a rich, fluffy sweet loaf, «Ligo» (Ligo) bread with a bold flavor, and a wheat-rye bread with green apple and caraway. There's also a sugar-free toast bread with chia seeds for those watching their diet, and a poppy seed crunch loaf from the new line. The handmade pies deserve special mention: sweet pies with ten types of fillings and «Venskie pirogi» (Viennese Pies), available to order. Besides baked goods, the bakery also prepares lunches, bowls, and sandwiches. There are combo offers: a curd sochnik with coffee for 145 rubles, and a sandwich with coffee for 230 rubles. Every day, the company's bakeries produce more than 11,000 units of bread and nearly 45,000 buns, and «Russkiy khleb» products are sold at 1,824 locations across the city and region.
