«Matsu.Izakaya&Roku» is a pan-Asian gastrobar at 2B Sergeeva Street in Kaliningrad. The venue occupies two floors of a modern building overlooking Lower Lake and is part of the Asian project by Dmitry Akulov and Pavel Borisenko, co-owners of the restaurants «Sol» and Seasons. The name translates from Japanese as "pine" — a tree that has become a symbol of the Kaliningrad region. The interior was designed by the DA Bureau team in the style of a rock garden. Massive bar counters sit alongside various seating areas, the lamps are shaped like bamboo, and local natural materials were used in the finishing. The menu features Japanese classics and signature dishes. Guests order tonkotsu ramen with beef, several kinds of gyoza, and udon noodles. The kushiyaki — skewers of beef, squid, langoustine, and chicken — deserve special attention. For dessert, mochi with black beans is served. The bar makes cocktails, and the menu also includes sushi, fish and seafood dishes, and vegetarian options. The average check at the gastrobar is 1,700 ₽.
