«Dom» at 72 Kalinina Street occupies a wooden mansion built in 1911 for the merchants Tabolov and Bitarov. Restaurateurs Roman and Maria Rakusa made it their flagship project, preserving the spirit of the old manor house. The open kitchen here runs on a traditional Russian wood-fired stove, used to cook dishes made from Far Eastern ingredients, bringing out their flavor the traditional way. The menu was created by brand chef Rustam Tangirov and chef Ivan Salomakha, with an emphasis on Russian cuisine in a contemporary interpretation. The average check ranges from 1,000 to 6,000 rubles, so you can drop in for a simple lunch or arrange an elaborate, full-scale dinner. The atmosphere of an old merchant’s house and the wood-fired stove in the open kitchen create something you won’t find in an ordinary restaurant in Khabarovsk.
